Chapter Eight

It was like falling back into a warm, comfy, unmade bed.

Gina revelled in the soft, warm memory of Kristoph’s lips – suddenly no longer just a memory, after all these years.

She breathed in his scent, and felt his tongue slip between her lips, and swooned a little in his strong grip. She knew that this was wrong – that Kristoph was as married as she was – but she didn’t care.

She wanted this.

Eventually, her ex-boyfriend pulled his lips away, and stared deeply into her eyes.

Gina looked up, feeling herself shiver with desire.

“I-I can give you guys some space, if you need it,” Josh stammered – suddenly the awkward third wheel for the first time that evening.

But Gina turned to him, and in a fit of tequila-fueled impulsiveness grabbed the front of his shirt and yanked the taller man down to her level. Lips still tingling from Kristoph’s kiss, she pressed them hard against Josh’s mouth.
